Kendall Jenner is pretty tame in her hair choices compared to her sister Kylie, so when she cut off her signature long dark locks, the world was pretty shocked. We got a sneak peek at the big chop from her Snapchat, but considering how often celebs tend to trick us with hair changes, we weren’t really inclined to believe her straight away.
It was only when she stepped out with her brother-in-law, Kanye West, that we saw that this haircut was legit, not to mention incredibly flattering.
The lob was last year’s big hair trend, but it seems it’s taken Kendall a little bit longer to jump on the bandwagon, unlike her sisters Kylie and Kim, who debuted lobs a while ago. Jenner cites supermodel Christy Terlington’s 80s look as her inspo for the big chop, and we can definitely see the resemblance.
In honour of her new ‘do, we’re gonna take a look back at some of her hairstyles over the years, from when she nailed the laid back beachy waves to her more striking looks.
Faux Bangs
Jenner fooled her fans back in November 2015 when she showed up to the American Music Awards with bangs, but not to worry, it wasn’t real. It’s actually pretty simple to recreate this look if you have long hair. Here’s a little video tutorial if you’re so inclined.
Signature straight, centre part and sleek
Kendall’s go-to style is dead straight, no layers and a centre part to frame her face. Personally, I find this one pretty boring, I think she looks way more beautiful when it’s textured, and her face doesn’t seem so elongated.
Pretty in pink
This is my personal favourite Kendall look, but I’m probably bias since I’m sporting an unnatural bright colour myself. I think Kendall can really pull off the pastel pink, and it suits her skin tone so nicely. Bring this back Kenny!
Bleach blonde

It was definitely a shock when Kendall walked out debuting this bleach blonde colour with her bestie Gigi Hadid switching to light brown. Seems like the two switched hairstyles for a hot minute! Unfortunately, it didn’t last very long, and Kendall was back to her brunette basics before we knew it.
We love Kendall’s lob, and we’re excited to see what she has next, but it probably won’t be as exciting as Kylie’s constantly evolving, bright coloured hair (even if it usually just a wig).
