The latest makeup product you need is this rainbow highlighter

This new highlighter phase is brighter than most of our futures. If Ke$ha in 2010, a unicorn and Kylie Jenner’s Coachella hair came together to make a new beauty product, this would be it.

The Etsy Shop Bitter Lace Beauty makes this rainbow-hued highlighter to make your face sparkle like sunshine and lollypops. The highlighter called Prism, unfortunately has demand higher than supply right now so you won’t be able to get your hands on it until it comes back in stock.

When applied, the highlighter actually shows up in all of the colours of the rainbow so you totally feel like a living and breathing human fairy. It’s probably not the best option for an ‘everyday look’ but is the perfect addition to any event or themed makeup. Even YouTuber/Makeup god, Jeffree Star was impressed by the rainbow highlighter that the whole makeup community can’t stop talking about.

The shop owner Jenna, shared the story of what made her create the product in the first place in an Instagram post. She said, “Freshman year of high school I used to wear crazy rainbow socks, all the way up to my knees with shorts, looking like Rainbow Brite in action! I walked around thinking I was so cool, and most likely looked like a crazy person! Fast forward to present day and I still love rainbows just as much as freshman year… I even wear them all over my face! Everyone should look like they have been licked by a unicorn, don’t you think?!” Given that the highlighter just so happens to be sold out with the second weekend of Coachella coming up, we’re guessing there are plenty of concertgoers who agree.”

Jenna is currently working as fast as she can to restock Prism but admits it does take a long time considering the rainbow goes all the way throughout. She also revealed in another Instagram post that the price will increase from $16 to $22 ($AU30). I think most of us can agree though that it would be $30 well spent in order to look like the fairy gods magically highlighted your face.
