In Winter, it is way too easy to get stuck in a bubble of comfort food, electric blankets, and dog cuddles. While we’ve still got plenty of Winter to get through (ew), we’re already being reminded that Summer is on the way. Which means that we’re going to have to kick ourselves back into gear and work off all that Winter weight.
Here are some of our favourite meal and exercise plans to help you get back into shape for bikini season:
Keep it Cleaner
Keep it Cleaner (KIC) was started by Melbourne-based models and absolute bombshells, Laura Henshaw and Steph Claire Smith. Both girls have seen the good, bad, and ugly aspects of the modelling industry and have struggled with body image issues themselves.
They started their fitness plan in 2017, wanting to inspire young girls to embrace and take care of their bodies. The program offers a 7-day planner, which includes meal options and recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. The girls guide you through workouts that alternate between HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), boxing, strength, and running. Only basic equipment is needed for the workouts – tools like dumbbells and medicine balls can be substituted for water bottles, bags, even your dog!
The best part of the program is definitely the Facebook community. Girls who sign up for the program receive exclusive access to the Keep it Cleaner Facebook page. Members post about everything and anything – progress photos, meal recommendations, and questions about the best equipment will soon flood your feed. It is the perfect positive environment that’ll get you motivated to work out.
Best for: Young gals who want to improve their body image and their own self esteem, without cutting out the food they love.
Cost: $19.50 per month

Tiffxo
If you’re old enough to remember, you might recognise Tiff Hall from the TV show Gladiator where she was known as ‘Angel’. Otherwise, you may have seen her grace your TV screens as a trainer on The Biggest Loser.
The taekwondo expert and personal trainer kick-started her new business in 2016, Tiffxo. It runs for four weeks, includes exercise and meal plans, and is suitable for all ages. Hall guides participants through the workouts, providing demonstrations and suggestions in real time. Similar to KIC, Tiff xo also includes guided meditations to keep your mind as healthy as your body. The planner even creates shopping lists for you, so all you need to do is pull up the list, and head out to the shop – everything else is ready for you. Hall encourages her workout partners to keep pushing and working in order to be fully satisfied with the end result. You’d be surprised at what you can achieve in four weeks.
Best for: Middle aged to older women who want to lose weight fast, and are willing to commit to strict meal plans and exercise regimes.
Cost: $39 per month

The key to working out for summer is to take it at your own pace, and don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Remember, a ‘bikini body’ is just a body in a bikini. Workout and take care of yourself for you, and love the skin you’re in!
