Michelle Bridges To Host Weight Loss Expo SYDNEY

From Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd of July, professional and personal trainer on The Biggest Loser Australia,’ Michelle Bridges, will be hosting this year’s Weight Loss Expo!

The Expo will take place at Sydney’s Rosehill Gardens Racecourse and will include a range of activities including live cooking workshops, informative talks by dieticians and nutritionists, bootcamps and personal trainers as well as beauty therapists and makeup artists.

This year will even include a record breaking event as the event’s hosts will be attempting to break the “Largest Zumba Class” Guinness World Record. The current record stands at 13,350 people, achieved by Governor Miguel Luis R. Villafuerte in the Philippines.

Alongside Michelle Bridges will be celebrity guest Tim Robards. Tim was the first Bachelor in season one of The Bachelor Australia in 2013. Five years later he is still with the show’s winner, criminal lawyer Anna Heinrich and the couple got married last month. Tim is also a dedicated health and fitness enthusiast. Before he become a chiropractor, he studied physics and medicine and now runs his own clinics.

The Weight Loss Expo’s Information Pack revealed that:

In 2011-12, 62.8% of Australians aged 18 years and over were overweight or obese, comprised of 35.3% overweight and 27.5% obese. A further 35.5% were of normal weight and 1.7% were underweight.
