If you’ve long been drooling over pictures of long, luscious locks, then you will no doubt have been trying to figure out how to grow your own hair the healthiest of ways. Not everyone finds it easy to grow hair naturally, becuase environmental factors can cause damage, hair types can be better suited to shorter styles, or the whole process might just take too long.
If this is the case, it might be that you’ve investigated hair extensions. Now, when done correctly, hair extensions can be a great way to give yourself longer locks, without the waiting time, but they can also cause damage to natural hair in some circumstances. Because you never know if your hair is the right type, as well as the risk of going to the wrong place to have the extensions put in, it can sometimes be best to forget the idea altogether.
The good news is that there are ways to grow your own hair naturally, without being disappointed in the end result, or waiting for too long. Let’s explore two natural ways you can attempt to get those long, luscious locks in the healthiest of ways.
Head Massage With Rosemary Oil
Massaging the scalp is a great way to encourage growth, becuase it stimulates blood flow towards the scalp, strengthening roots, and releasing nutrients, which help hair to grow quickly and healthily. You can do the scalp massage with or without oil, but if you add in rosemary oil, you’re getting double the benefit.
Rosemary oil stimulates hair growth, dilates the blood vessels which work to deliver nutrients to the roots, and gives you a much better chance of growing strong hair, rather than weak strands. Just a few drops is enough, especially if you have oily roots, and around twice per week should do the trick.
Use a Hot Caster Oil Treatment Product
These treatments have been on the market for a long time, but they have been under the radar for much of the time. Caster oil is hugely beneficial to hair and growth, as well as having antibacterial and antifungal properties, which can cut out the chances of developing an infection that could stunt growth. on top of this, it has many nutrients within it, including omega 6 fatty acids, and vitamin E, to name just two.
Take your product, warming it up as per the instructions on the packet. Then, massage it into your scalp, slowly working down to the tip of the hair. Once done, pile your hair up on top of your head and clip it in place with a shower cap for around 15 minutes or so. Wash and condition your hair as usual afterwards for silky soft results, and a boost to growth. Repeat once a week.
These are just two ways you can stimulate hair growth, and give yourself a chance of long, luscious locks, in the most natural of ways!
