Tonight, the highly-respected biennial JAA Australasian Jewellery Awards are back. The awards were sorely missed by the industry after the need to postpone due to the impacts of COVID.
The JAA Australasian Jewellery Awards will be held live tonight (8th of Feb 2022) and if you are unable to watch this great event, we will proudly announce the winners here for you tomorrow!
The awards celebrate and recognise design, innovation, craftsmanship and marketability in the jewellery industry. They reward creativity, skill and technique.
Open to Australian and New Zealand citizens and residents only, the JAA Australasian Jewellery Awards is the longest running local jewellery design and manufacture competition in Australia.
2021 was a special year for the Jewellers Association of Australia, where they celebrated 90 years since its founding in 19311. The diamond is the anniversary stone for 90 and in honour of the pink diamond, they are turning celebrations pink for tonight’s awards.
