Aussie beauty influencers take on Splendour in the Grass: The best looks from the weekend

Aussie brand Beginning Boutique has done it again.

BB linked up with some of our favourite beauty and fashion influencers for Splendour in the Grass last weekend. In the most ‘extra’ way they know how, they hosted the gurus at their very own ‘Beginning Boutique Splendour Retreat’ (and it was as amazing as it sounds). Not only did the brand host them at a glorious Byron Bay house by the beach, they also equipped them with some of the most amazing, never-before-seen, Splendour-esque outfits to date.

Here are some of our faves from the weekend:

What festival is complete without some over-the-top looks and glitter galore? Wearing the Kodiak Fur Coat in Paddle Pop and pristine white Full Throttle Motoski Pants, Finch absolutely killed the Splendour game with this day 2 outfit. Practicality was clearly not a priority when choosing this outfit (white pants at an outdoor festival? Ok Michael), but he still managed to pull it off. Any item of clothing named after a beloved childhood snack deserves an A+ in my books. This look is about as OTT as it gets for a festival. All that’s missing is a set of unnecessarily long, sparkly acrylic nails…

Never mind.

Lily Brown:

When does Lily Brown not look like a goddess? This year’s Splendour bender was no exception. This day 3 look is everything you could possibly want in a Splendour outfit ensemble. Steering away from the usual glitter-infused looks most girls go for, Brown went for a more biker chic feel – very different from her usual, girly style. Brown showed off her assets (her entire body and face and everything) in the velvet black Glastonbury Bralette, and a pair of black Antaro Cargo Pants. Despite her clear neglect of the fact that it’s WINTER and she’s wearing A CROP TOP, Brown still owned Splendour this year, and is killing it way into next year’s festival too. Even more exciting is the launch of her new clothing line with Beginning Boutique, which was announced shortly after the festival finished. So no doubt we’ll see some more incredible looks from Brown in the future.

Bella Fiori:

Bella has made a name for herself through her unique fashion sense – and this weekend was proof of how she continues to make her mark in the fashion world. Pairing Beginning Boutique’s Matilda Cropped Cargo Pants in red plaid with the white 9.0 Swim St Andres Cut Out One Piece, Fiori made a big statement at the festival, and continues to uphold her reputation as a fashion icon. She also came prepared for all weather types, and/or shower of Vodka-Red Bulls by wearing a swimsuit. Props to you, Bella. Genius move.

Shani Grimmond:

What is a festival without an appearance from Shani Grimmond? Have you even been to a festival if Shani Grimmond wasn’t there stealing the show? Unfortunately, Grimmond had to tap out during day 2 of the festival after spraining her ankle. It’s under wraps whether those massive, heeled boots had anything to do with it, or whether it was the work of some solid Smirnoff Double Blacks – who knows? That did not stop her from looking incredible for day 1. Grimmond matched the camp Tulip Tie Up Crop and Antares Cargo Pants in khaki with the black Current Mood Midnight Stepper Boots. To be honest, it was next to impossible to see her in the crowd, but points to her for managing to remain invisible for the whole first day (camo jokes – classic).

All the looks above can be bought at Beginning Boutique, and don’t forget:

Heels at a festival are a TERRIBLE idea.

It’s not just the Instagram models who can rock those looks. Take a look at the items above and put your own unique spin on them. The best thing you can wear at a festival is your own confidence. And not a crop top, because it’s still winter.

Party on! Xx
