Tonymoly x Samyang Noodle Collaboration

If you’re a ramen fan who also happens to love Korean makeup and skin care, today’s an exciting day! Tonymoly, South Korean makeup and skincare brand has announced a collaboration with Samyang’s Buldak Spicy Chicken Ramen. You heard that right.

Launching in South Korea in 2012, these noodles became a hugely popular instant meal thanks to its cartoon chicken mascot (who has a BOWL CUT by the way – fashion.) It’s SO beloved that Tonymoly saw an obvious opportunity to create the most random but brilliant collaboration.

Earlier this month, Tonymoly announced the launch of Samyang x Tonymoly Hot Edition makeup collection. The packaging fits right in with the fiery noodle vibe. “Through this unusual collaboration with Spicy Buldak Chicken Ramen, we are excited to launch special and entertaining products,” a Tonymoly official told The Korean Herald.

According to Allure, the collection includes the Hot Coverdak Cushion, a cushion-compact foundation that comes with a refill made to look like a sauce packet, Noodle Blusher, which comes in a bright red called Bad Red and a super pale pink called Carbolighter, a lip balm called the Lip Care Stick and Lip Sauce Tint, which comes in Spicy Red and Cheese Red (we have no idea what cheese red is, but we trust that it’s amazing.)You can purchase these products all together on BeautyBoxKorea.com for AUD$35 and you even get a packet of the Samyang Noodles to try for yourself (what a steal).

We have never been so hyped for a collab before – it’s like a clash of two perfect worlds and we can’t wait to get out mitts on those lip tints and blushes!
