Give Your Skin A Boost With Edible Beauty

For those who are searching for a skincare product to stick to, I have the perfect option for you. I had the pleasure of trying the new Deep Sea Collagen Elixir from Australian company Edible Beauty. The elixir is 1 of 4 Boosters, aiming to target problem spots, make your skin glow and feed your skin with a blend of superfood nutrients.

As I have relatively sensitive skin, my skincare routine is pretty simple. I use a micro fibre makeup remover disc from Santé by ENJO, in the shower I opt for Sukin’s Foaming Facial Cleanser, then I pop on my Rosewater Balancing Mist Toner and Rose Hip Facial Moisturiser, both from SWISSE.

As the weather is getting hotter, I don’t always want to apply my moisturiser straight after I shower. This is where the elixir has come in handy. It’s a cool change which makes my skin feel instantly hydrated. Using the dropper, I add three squeezes of the elixir to my forehead and cheeks.

Made up of seaweed collagen, seaweed leaf and lychee, the marine peptides and antioxidants act to replenish my face, lifting the skin and softening any sneaky fine lines. It was a nice refreshing change, isn’t tacky or sticky and has a subtle aroma that isn’t overpowering. And even after a week, I am seeing the glow, my skin feels nourished and my face is firm but not dry!

The other Edible Beauty boosters in the range include the Turmeric Beauty Latte to calm and brighten, Glowing Skin Smoothies to smooth and protect, and the Probiotic Radiance Tonic to clear and restore.

For a gal who hasn’t used serum or any of the Edible Beauty products before, consider me a convert!
