If you’ve watched a makeup tutorial on YouTube, then you’ve probably come across Desi Perkins and LustreLux (or Katy). If you haven’t? It’s time to start. The two beauty gurus have collaborated with makeup brand, Dose of Colors, for the second time!

The duo’s first release had 2 highlighters – Fuego and Mirame, a sparkly eyeshadow quad named The Girls, 2 lipsticks – More Creamer Please and No Shade, lipgloss – Over the Top, and 2 liquid lipsticks – Savage and Hot Fire.

Round 2 seems to have kept the fan favourites, Over the Top gloss (clear gloss with gold reflects) and Fuego highlighter (light champagne gold) but have extended the collection. Their Friendcation palette looks PERFECT! The palette has 5 must-have matte colours and 5 pops of colour in an intense shimmer/glitter formula. They’ve added a new highlighter named Chasing the Sun which is a golden bronze colour, suitable for those who have medium/deep skin tones.

For lips, the duo have put out a new formula for Dose of Colors, velvet matte lipsticks. A Mauve Story is a cool muted mauve velvet matte lipstick. My Main is another velvet matte lipstick, this time in a much warmer soft beige brown. They’ve also created two bullet lipsticks in the shades Hey Girl and Aftermath which are both peach based colours with Hey Girl being a peach pink and Aftermath being a rich cognac brown.

There’s something about glossy lips that I can’t get enough of, especially when there’s sparkle involved… hello big juicy lips. The newest addition to the collection is The Most, a clear gloss with pink reflects in it. Basically, Over the Top’s sister.

The best part about the release of this collection is all the tutorials coming through using the eyeshadow palette and creating unique looks.
