Using inspiration from the sci-fi and fantasy genre, owner of Command PR Simon Huck, has created a bizarre new form of fashion — alien implants.
So far his line of prosthetics include a nautilus inspired biological heel, crystal neck frills, shoulder horns, a corset made of ribs, and an embedded choker that pulses with an eerie yellow glow.
Huck’s boundary pushing concept will be open for show on September 5th during New York Fashion Week at 48 Mercer Street in the form of an interactive exhibit.
“We didn’t want to root any of our modifications on the idea of existing insecurities or discomforts,” Huck explained in an interview with Vogue. “A. Human is about the freedom to explore this world and live in this world in any way you choose.”
“When you think of the future, you think dark, dystopian—there are all these images that come to mind. I didn’t want to create a utopian world, but I definitely wanted to create a world that was optimistic or, at the bare minimum, neutral.”
“We wanted to use the future of fashion and the future of self-expression as a way to look at the future. That is how the ethos of A. Human formed.”
Famous friends of Huck, Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and star of Queer Eye Tan France, showcased samples of his work on Instagram.

Will these animalistic forms of human enhancement — horns, gills, and feathers — have a place in the fashion industry? Or, should they continue to stay in the neat confines of the sci-fi genre?
