The wonders of dry shampoo

Dry Shampoo is THE go-to product for time poor people that have limp, lifeless and oily hair. It’s great for going from a sweaty workout to work or out to dinner after work and want to jazz up your hair a bit.

But did you know dry shampoo also has a few other purposes?!

1. Extend your blowout

Don’t waste your expensive visit to the salon. In the second to third day after your visit, spray from mid length to ends, leave for five minutes and work through with your fingertips. It’ll give it a dry-texturising effect and leave it feeling light and airy.

2. Keeps your hair looking sophisticated

If you have a fancy event and are worried about your hair springing out from all directions, especially when it’s hot or you have un-tameable hair, dry shampoo is the answer. You can spray it down on your hair pins to keep your audrey hepburnesque beehive up.

Likewise, Braids are attractive at first but after a couple of hours your hair starts to sprout everywhere which is not good if you’re vying for a sophisticated look. Distress not, dry shampoo to the rescue, this will guarantee you to seal your picture-ready look at any time of the day.

3. Say good bye to greasy bangs

Many people love fringes but now all the built up oil that they soak up which can result in a blemished forehead.

4. Volume booster

Experiencing limp hair? Dust with dry shampoo before blow drying your hair. Luscious voluminous hair is the product of dry shampoo and heat.

5. Change your style

If you didn’t have time in the morning to tame your beast of a hair, especially if it’s thick or curly, dry shampoo can help your hair go from tangled mess to slicky straight. Just brush the dry shampoo through your hair and voila!

6. Tame your brows

If you’ve got thick brows that you’re constantly trying to keep their shape, you may have tried hairspray and they may have felt a bit straw like. Spray some on your brows in the morning and it’ll help them keep their shape. Remember to brush it out at bedtime.

7. Get rid of smelly shoes

Spritz some dry shampoo to eliminate the whiffiness buildup in your shoes. You might want to take your shoes off but don’t want to unleash the stink bomb. Spray on the soles of the shoes. If they soak up all the oil in your scalp, will they soak up your foot odour!

8. Travel in Style

Got a camping festival or a long haul flight? No worries! You’re hair will always look on point if you keep this handy product close by.
