The newest (and craziest) beauty trend to hit the internet are Nail Polish Mountains. It involves layering as many coats of nail polish as you can handle onto your nails to create a multicoloured mound on each nail.
Youtube sensation and nail artist Cristine of the Youtube channel Simply Nailogical started the trend when she responded to a request from fans to apply all of the nail polishes she owned. Over 12 hours and 116 nail polish colours later, #polishmountain was born.
The video went viral and everyone decided to create their own #polishmountains. The trend went worldwide, with Twitter and Instagram users around the globe posting their own progress with the challenge.
