Mascara hacks for your everyday life

No need for false eyelashes, extensions or even buying the most expensive mascara because you think that will give you a flawless finish. All you need are these simple mascara hacks that will prolong your mascara and also give your eyelashes the finish you deserve.

Wipe off mascara clumps

We all know how frustrating it is when we want to look good for a certain event and when we start to apply our mascara it clumps onto your eyelashes. Having one eyelash is not the best look, so try wiping off some of the excess mascara onto a tissue before using.

Place mascara into warm water before use

Placing the mascara bottle into warm water before using it will reduce the amount of clumping for later use and get that killer natural look you dreamed about.

Baby powder works a charm

Using baby powder on your eyelashes before your first coat and after your second coat will make your eyelashes seem more plump and volumised. The translucent powder sticks to your lashes and defines your eyes.

Heat eyelash curler

Using your blow dryer works for your eyelash curler as well. Warming it up before use will make your eyelashes easier to curl and hold the shape longer. This hack curls the same way a normal curling iron does, but for your eyelashes.

De-clump your mascara

It is actually the worst thing when you look in the mirror and realise how bad your effort was when you applied your mascara. Try getting a toothbrush you do not use for your teeth, and slowly brush your eyelashes as if you were combing your hair.
