We’ve seen the resurgence of several decade old fashion trends including the return of track pants from the 90s, mirrored sunglasses from the 80s and platform boots from the 70s. Now back in fashion are ‘Mum shorts.’
Mum shorts AKA Bermuda Shorts, made their first appearance in the 1950s. The shorts are typically high waisted, loose, and fall just above the knee. The most recent appearance of Mum shorts was at the Altuzarra Resort 2019 channeling their original function as beach attire.
What other bygone fashion trends will return in 2018. Low rise jeans? Leather pants? Fanny packs?
