‘The Most Expensive Lip Art’ is not a title that is earned easily. However, this amazingly decadent masterpiece is more than worthy of the title. Vlada Haggerty, who is the new Lip Editor in Chief for Smashbox Cosmetics, has teamed up with Zoe Chicco to create a stunning lip look.

Haggerty is one of the world’s most popular Instagram makeup artists and Zoe Chicco is a jeweller who so graciously lent Haggerty the diamonds that are a vital part of the look.

The duo went for the title that the Guinness World Records books are calling the world’s ‘Most Valuable Lip Art’. Guinness World Records even created a category just for the look, and it’s safe to say that the duo smashed it out of the park.

The lip art showcases the pigmented Smashbox liquid lipstick ‘Be Legendary Liquid Lip’, as well as a whopping AUD$34,116.26 in diamonds. From the pictures below, it’s clear that Haggerty and Chicco, as well as Smashbox Cosmetics earned the record fair and square.

The 6.5 carats worth of diamonds had to be painstakingly placed on the model’s lips. There were about 80 diamonds, so it’s clear that making expensive lip art is no easy task. Pair the astounding amount of diamonds with the stunning red from Smashbox and you end up with this jaw-dropping look.

Haggerty has worked hard to be recognised within the makeup industry, so it’s wonderful to see her hard work has paid off with a stunning look and the attention it’s garnered. She has a focus on lip art, which you should definitely check out on her Instagram. Here’s a few of our favourites below.
