Sephora to open in Brisbane

Sephora, the popular American beauty chain, is finally opening its doors in Brisbane. Up until now, Queenslanders had to drive down to the Gold Coast or interstate to go to a proper Sephora store with lights and products. Not anymore!

The Country Manager of Sephora Australia made the following announcement today:

“After such great success with our Pacific Fair store launch on the Gold Coast, it was clear that we needed to bring a Sephora store offering to the sunshine state capital and with many of Brisbane’s beauty junkies already shopping with us on Sephora.com.au, the new Westfield Chermside development was the perfect answer.”

Beauty lovers of Brisbane, get excited by your access to ridiculous amounts of gorgeous beauty products and oh so many beauty goals.

Although the Gold Coast may not seem far enough away to warrant a whole new store in Brisbane, it’s a bit of  a trek. It’s about a hour away, which is a long way to go if you’re really really wanting to just see the new eyeshadow palette by Kat Von D.

Previously, Brissie beauty fans either make the trek to the Gold Coast, or used the Sephora website. Although the website is great for beauty fans who already know their shades and what they’re looking for, this isn’t usually the case for first time beauty fans who are going in blind. Thank goodness that the company realised there was a gap in the market and fixed it with a store.

The store will open its doors in the first week of April, so mark the date. Your beauty mecca has finally come to Brisbane!
