Global Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo, is known for many things both on and off the field. Recently he has partnered with Lapo Elkann, Italy Independent to launch his new CR7 sunglasses range.The contract was announced in February 2020 with an exclusive 5-year agreement.

This first release will feature a collection of seven distinct styles. A reference to Ronaldo’s iconic jersey number, each one rich with detail. 

Sunglasses can be sorted into three categories: metal, acetate, and TR90 injected plastic. Sporting a number “7” in the frame, CR7 logo on the temple, and laser-imprinted signature in the corner of the lens, there are five colour variants for each style. The first collection is now available online globally on the new cr7-eyewear.com platform. 

The result of more than a year’s worth of design efforts, these sunglasses will range from classic silhouettes to bolder and more colourful retro-style offerings. Despite being available for purchase in over 70 countries, the Cristiano Ronaldo CR7 sunglasses currently do not ship to Australia. But we hope they will soon.
