Your 2019 Health And Beauty Resolutions

Your 2019 Health And Beauty Resolutions

As we move ever closer to a fresh new calendar year, it’s time to think about the things you’re going to vow to do, and those you’re going to vow not to do. Personally, I don’t think New Year’s resolutions do anyone much good, but it really depends on the type of resolution, as to the amount of benefit coming your way. For me however, any resolution around your health and beauty routine is a resolution worth making!

To help you out, here are the 2019 health and beauty resolutions you should be making.

Try a Probiotic

If you haven’t tried probiotics before, now is the time to try. You can attempt to get a good amount of probiotic content in your diet, or you can make life easier and take a supplement. Probiotics help with overall gut health, reduce digestive system conditions (such as IBS), and also have a myriad of other benefits, such as helping to boost the immune system and reduce yeast infection instances.

Dedicate Yourself to Organic Food

Everyone wants to do their bit for the environment, and you can tick that box by eating organic foods, rather than regularly grown foods. Organic foods are ‘clean’, in that they are grown how God intended them to be, and no pesticides or antibiotics have been added in. Because of that, you’re getting health benefits too, and whilst organic food might cost a little more, it’s certainly worth it.

Stop Smoking

Surely I don’t have to speak about this one too much? Smoking is very bad for you, not only for your health, but your skin and your general appearance too! Cut out the smoking and use the huge amount of money saved for something worthwhile, such as a vacation.

Drink More Water

Most of us don’t drink enough water, so make this year the year that changes for you. By drinking more water you’re doing your entire body a favour, including your brain function. You’ll notice much clearer skin, and it can also help with weight loss!

Always Remove Your Make up

Are you guilty of falling into bed at the end of a long day without removing your make up? Most of us have done this at some point! If you’re a regular offender however, resolve to remove your make up every night before bed. Avoid harsh wiping motions, and instead stick with small circular motions, to avoid skin damage.

Move More

I’ll tell you a little secret – you can eat more of the things you love (in moderation), if you move more! So, join the gym, go for a regular walk with a friend after work, head to a Zumba class, join a team, do something which means you basically move more. Your waistline and your entire body will thank you for it!

Cut The Stress Out

We all live such stressful lives in one way or another, but did you know that stress over a long period of time is very dangerous for your entire mind and body? Make a resolution to cut out the stress and learn to manage any stress that you do experience. Stress management techniques are super-easy to learn, and make a huge difference in your life.

Which one will you make first?
