As Summer slowly creeps up on us, our pale limbs are screaming in horror that we might actually have to get them out in public. Lucky for us, fake tan exists and it stops us needing to go and sit in the sun for hours on end to achieve a nice even glow (or for me, buuuuuurn. Here are some new tanning products to get that summer glow without the sun damage.
The OG fake tan, St Tropez in Dark has a new sister, Extra Dark. St Tropez claims that this is going to help you achieve your deepest, darkest and most natural looking tan with Extra Dark Mousse. This tan has a deep colour guide to ensure you get an even, streak free application. Pump the mousse into your favourite tanning mitt and evenly distribute all over your body. You can wash this tan off after 4 hours for a dark bronze, or after 8 hours for your deepest, darkest most natural tan yet.

b.tan have a heap of tans in their collection. i love myself more tanned is a new addition and their darkest tan. This product has a charcoal base which is perfect if you’re looking for a cool toned, deep and intense tan. They recommend double coating on dry, exfoliated skin, and rinsing after at least one hour. If you’re after a crazy dark tan, marinate for 4+ hours and soak in all the glory of being tanned for another week.
LeTan Uber Glow Foamed Oil Ash Base
LeTan really kills the game when it comes to fake tanning, and their Uber Glow product is no exception. This tan gives a flawless golden glow, is fragrance free and is long lasting. This is a foaming oil tan, which gives the skin a natural glow and is also nourishing on the skin. This luxurious formula is fragrance free with cutting edge odour neutralisers which ensure that you don’t get that ‘fake-tan’ smell (thank goodness).
Minetan Color Create Clear Base
Minetan is a personal favourite of mine, particularly in the violet shade which suits my olive skin perfectly. This new product is a clear tanning foam – crazy right?! You can apply this tan directly to your body using the new Bronze On Applicator Mitt for a more natural tan. If you’re looking for a nice, deep tan, Minetan are releasing Color Base Drops so you can customise the intensity of your tan. Minetan specifies to only wash this tan off for 45 seconds in lukewarm water to ensure your tan is intact after showering.
With all of these tans, make sure you moisturise every day after tanning to ensure it lasts and fades evenly! There’s nothing worse than looking like a piece of tiger bread.
