Social Media Influencers paving their way into Superstardom

An Instagram rich list has revealed the top paid Instagram influencers.

While there is a mass amount of celebrities topping the lists, there are a few lesser known influencers who are making a name for themselves through their Instagram feed.

Huda Kattan, beauty blogger, vlogger and founder of Huda Beauty comes in at number 20. She makes US$33,000 per Instagram post and has 26.4 million followers on Instagram. Huda has a controversial history on the social networking site. Earlier this year, she posted a blog which explains how women can lighten their nether region.

She has also been criticised by other influencers like Jeffree Star (ranked #43) for copying a product campaign from an indie company, Beauty Bakerie. Huda Beauty recently released their Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting powder campaign photos, which allegedly resembles Beauty Bakerie’s Flour Setting Powder images. What are your thoughts?

It’s no shock that Kylie Jenner has topped the list with 110 million Instagram followers, making a whopping US$1million per post. At this rate, Kylie is set to become the world’s first youngest self made billionaire. Selena Gomez follows closely, making US$800,000 per post.

Kylie’s sisters Kim, Khloe and Kendall also made the list.

The rich list also revealed the richest influencers across a range of other categories including fashion, travel, sport, fitness, health and food.
