So, you’ve got minimal time to apply your full face but want to look awake? Slap on a bright lippy and be on your way. I love applying red lip colours when i’m in a rush, mostly because it makes you look like you’ve applied a full face. A favourite red of ours is MAC’s Lady Danger – it’s the perfect red-orange hybrid. Be warned: it has a tendency to make your teeth look less white than what they are. If that’s not your vibe, look for a blue based red lipstick like MAC’s cult red, Ruby Woo. You can pick these lippies up from MAC counters, or in Mecca Maxima stores for $36.
Blush is another product that you can slap on and look like a glowing goddess. I like NARS Orgasm for that perfect flushed and glowy look. The colour perfectly replicates my natural flushed shade and adds a nice golden sheen. It looks perfect on every skin tone and is a cult classic for a reason.
