Saint Laurent has just dropped a new Pre-Fall collection. The gorgeous gold and burgundy hued collection features a range of Italian made corduroy and fur jackets, loose Bohemian blouses, studded velvet short-shorts and suede tasseled boots.

Splashes of Cheetah print on heeled ankle boots, slim Leopard print denim jeans and a gold shimmery Leopard print dress act as an exotic twist to the collection.

Each of the looks seem to harken back to the 20th century circus era of costuming. The large gold studded patterns, loose crinkled pants and bold red coat with intricate detailing on the sleeves and collar — much like a Ringmaster’s Jacket — all follow this unsaid theme.

According to a release by Saint Laurent the collection is meant to “realistically echo the way women dress in today’s global world.” Given the obscene price of the outfits, some of which collectively cost over $27,000 dollars, this won’t be the way most women will be dressing but it’s definitely a collection worth admiring for inspiration and ideas.
