P.E Nation, the two-year old brand established in Sydney has amassed a massive national and international following. Celebrities who are fans of the brand include Elle Macpherson, Kylie Jenner and the Kardashians.
Best friends and savvy business moguls Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning are the co-founders of this exceeding popular and luxury brand.
This year saw the two winning Australia’s National Designer Award, earning them a prize package worth $100,000. Upon reflecting on the win, Edwards commented:
“We won it because there’s a lot more structure and potential to grow… One of the judging criteria was, ‘Can you change the Australian [fashion] landscape?’, and we have the power for scale and a clear path.”
P.E Nation has risen alongside other brands like Adidas, Nike, Reebok and Ivy Park in the ever growing athleisure trend. In winning this award the brand is joining the newly formed class of luxury designer activewear.

In her personal life, co-founder Pip Edwards upholds her active lifestyle. A personal day would look something like this:
“I get up early, like 5:30 or 6am. I sort out my dog, sort out [my son] Justice and drop him to school or to my mum’s depending on what morning it is. I go to pilates Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, then come into the office. Anything from meetings to photoshoots to financial budgets to planning to product ranging – you name it, it happens all day. I pick up the dog from his doggy day care, pick up Justice, go home, cook, sort out homework, put him to bed, then [do] more research. That’s my creative time. When no one’s around and I’ve got my licorice tea.”
Pip Edwards will be teaching us about how to get fit while having fun (if that’s possible) at a Fit Night Out Event hosted by Women’s Health Australia. The event will include an ultimate workout party and fitness classes by celebrity trainers; among them Steph Claire Smith and Laura Henshaw from Keep It Cleaner and sisters Felicia Oreb and Diana Johnson from Base Body Babes. To recuperate between workouts, the event will also feature a smoothie bar, healthy treats to snack on and hot hair and beauty treatments for after the workout.
