Buzzfeed has launched a web series Bogus Beauty, taking a Mythbusters spin on the beauty world.

In each Bogus Beauty episode, presenters Chrissy Mahlmeister and Selorm Kploanyi bust the myths depicted in Disney films.

For example, can you cut your hair off with a sword, Mulan style?

Can you pull someone up into the air using your hair, as Rapunzel does in Tangled?

Since its debut, the online serial has produced five episodes.

The series is available on the media company’s channel As/Is, which boasts nearly 10 million subscribers.
