A Royal Wedding Recap – Introducing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex

On Saturday the 19th May 2018, 9PM EST an estimated 29.9 Million viewers around the world tuned into to their televisions to watch what was to be, the biggest event of 2018. This being ‘The Royal Wedding of Miss Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’. If you were one of millions who gasped and awed, than i’m sure you will love this little recap!

As per tradition, the Royal Wedding was held at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, Windsor, United Kingdom. The couple were married by the bodacious Bishop – Michael Curry, who performed a compelling and heartfelt marriage.

Meghan arrived in a Givenchy off the shoulder, white gown with a stunning 5 metre veil and minimal makeup. Prince Harry and his best man Prince William wore the traditional Military suites. The bridal party consisted of the royal children dressed in cute baby Givenchy pieces. Mother of the bride Doria Ragland was in attendance, whilst Prince Charles took the reins and walked the goddess bride down the aisle. In excess of 600 guests were invited to attend the ceremony, with an additional 1400 being invited to Windsor Castle to watch from afar.

At roughly 12:49 PM London time Miss Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were officially a married couple.

The crowd were treated to a rather graceful exit from the Chapel through a flowered tier, they than paused and kissed each other. A horse drawn carriage was awaiting the Royal couple in the sights of the township. The couple rode off throughout the streets of Windsor as onlookers cheered and congratulated.

Celebrations consisted of the Queen’s Luncheon held at St. George’s Hall’s Waterloo Chamber on the Windsor Castle ground and to follow, an intimate reception of 200 guests was held at Frogmore House, hosted by Prince Charles himself.

Newly appointed married couple have been presented the title of Duke and Duchess of Sussex by the Queen of England and are now 2 days happily married.
