It’s a sad day for beauty lovers. Laura Mercier (aka the creator of my all time favourite primer), have announced that they are exiting from the Australian beauty market. The stunning makeup line that has been a cult favourite of beauty addicts, took to their Instagram and Facebook page to announce the upcoming departure.
The statement reads:
“As part of the strategy for a global brand transformation for the Laura Mercier brand, it is with great sadness that we announce the brand has made the difficult decision to exit the Australian market,”
“We really appreciate your strong support for the brand in Australia, so we want to take this opportunity to say thank you for the incredible support and passion for our products… we are shattered to say goodbye but for now we have to say au revoir.”
The brand confirmed it would no longer be available from stockists including David Jones and Sephora from July 1st of this year. So if you’re a fan of the Primer like I am, I suggest you start stocking up ASAP.
