Poppy Lissiman: Seriously Cool

If you’re looking for statement pieces that show off edgy femininity I’ve got the designer for you.

Poppy Lissiman is a incredibly talented designer from WA and has taken accessory design to a quirky new level. Poppy describes her design aesthetic as colourful, comfortable and left of centre. Her incredible talent has been recognised by cool girls worldwide, with the likes of Gigi and Bella Hadid and Gwen Stefani showing off their purchases.

Poppy’s range includes clutches, bags, sunglasses and scarves and I highly recommend investing in some of her pieces for the nights when your inner badass comes out to play, or you need some killer festival accessories. What makes this brand even more amazing? All accessories are cruelty-free and made using only vegan (or faux leather) parts! Poppy revealed her main piece of advice for those who are aspiring to be accessory designers during an interview with Bonds. “Don’t try and be a jack of all trades and master of none, specialise in one area then grow from there. Accessories are so vastly different from one category to another it’s hard to spread your time across all of the areas and do them really well without lots of help and time.”

The range oozes #girlpower and adds a pop of attitude to every outfit you wear. Her designs are inspired by religious and pagan symbols (suns, moons, sacred hearts etc), and have become a distinctive trademark within the fashion scene.
