In an interview with Glossy, Elle Macpherson shared her morning regime and top well-being tips for her perfect morning.
So, incase you were ever curious about what a Supermodel does to start the day, here’s a quick run-through!
Elle starts her day at 5am with half an hour set aside to meditate and set her intentions for the day. At 6am, Elle swaps her coffee for two teaspoons of her very own founded Welleco Super Elixir in filtered water, saying her “energy levels, sleep patterns and skin all benefit.”
15 minutes later Elle has her first meal of the day, a green smoothie infused with hemp seeds and superfoods. She says since introducing the Super Elixir and juices “my skin glows, my brown spots have faded, the whites of my eyes are clear and my tongue is no longer coated.” Although Elle prefers a raw vegan diet, if she’s craving something hot for breakfast she’ll opt for poached eggs and wheat-free dark rye toast or raw oatmeal with agave. Elle eases into mid morning with a yoga class, or an outside adventure.
“I prefer not to go to the gym; I would much rather be outside, doing yoga or swimming in the ocean.”
As for her beauty regime, she starts with a dry brush all over her body followed by a cold shower. Her moisturiser is organic and she always finishes it off with SPF.
“I’m a firm believer that beauty starts from within, but have learned the importance of sunscreen!”.
She cleanses with a Glycolic face wash and her makeup is kept totally natural. Elle’s best beauty secret? A good night sleep! She creates a calm space and always finishes her day with Welleco Calming and Fortifying tea while she spends 10 minutes winding down.
