Everything You Need For The Perfect ‘No Makeup’ Makeup Look

Effortlessly beautiful and naturally glowinga fresh face is timeless and my all time favourite makeup look. Don’t get me wrong, I love the opportunity to go OTT glam. Red lips, contoured cheeks and eyebrows on fleek to the point of no return are amazing for a big event but there’s nothing quite as refreshing as rocking the au naturel look to amplify your gorgeous features. Here are the must-have products for a fresh-faced & time saving makeup look:

ILLUMINATOR

Try: Laura Mercier Radiance Primer

Apply a duey skin illuminator right before your base product. This product will give your face glowing dimensions and brighten up your complexion to give off a well-rested and rejuvenated look (even if you didn’t get your full 8 hours the night before)

CC CREAM

Try: ASAP CC Cream SPF 15

Use a damp beauty blender to melt a thin layer over your face. CC creams tend to neutralise to your skin tone so little blending is needed and you still get a beautiful sheer amount of coverage to your face.

CREAM BLUSH & BRONZER

Try: Hourglass Illume Sheer Colour Trio

Cream products are ideal for natural makeup looks. They melt seamlessly into your natural complexion and leave you looking naturally flushed and glowy. You can control the amount of pigment that ends up on your cheeks, so you’re at no risk of ending up with circus cheeks. Bronzer dapped along your cheek bones and on the top of your eyelids makes for a sun kissed look.

BROW GEL

Try: L’oreal Paris Brow Artist Plumper

As always, brows are most important. A light brow gel will add definition without overdrawing and allow your brow hairs to be stuck in place.

LASH-SEPARATING MASCARA

Try: Benefit Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara

Try cleaning off your mascara brush before applying to ensure the lightest coat possible. The brush will still work its magic but you’ll avoid a clumpy obvious mess if you lighten the load.

LIP BALM & LINER

Try: Lanolips 101 Ointment

Try: Revlon ColorStay Lipliner in Blush

With the lightest hand, trace your cupid’s beau and bottom lip with a peachy pink lip liner that is almost identical to your lip shade. This will give you subtle definition and add dimension to your face. A luxurious lip balm finishes this fresh faced look off leaving you with totally kissable lips!

There’s nothing better than being fresh faced and flawless!
