Kendall Jenner has been officially unveiled as the newest ambassador for sportswear giant adidas, announcing the news on Instagram.
Following recent ambassadorship problems for the model with the Pepsi ad disaster, this new deal sees Kendall follow in the footsteps of brother-in-law Kanye West and Selena Gomez by taking on major deals with the brand.
She announced the news on social media herself, showing her rolling into adidas HQ on a cart in front of a sign saying ‘Welcome to the family’.
She will mainly be representing adidas Originals, which focuses on the vintage side of adidas’ ever-growing range. She hinted at something going on with adidas on another Instagram post a few weeks ago, and now that this has all been announced, it makes a lot more sense!
She has clearly had no trouble getting involved with the company’s other ambassadors, with supermodel Karlie Kloss being quick to welcome Kendall to the scene.
This deal clearly shows how quickly Kendall’s stock is continuing to rise, even with the Pepsi fiasco that temporarily set her back. It certainly looks like the Kardashian-Jenner juggernaut is not slowing down any time soon, either.
Hopefully this news will go down a little bit better with the rest of the clan than Kylie Jenner’s signing with Puma last year did, since this time there won’t be any butting heads with Kanye about working for competing brands!
