The best products to borrow (steal) off your man

We’ve all stolen our significant other’s shirts and jumpers at some point – partly to keep us warm, and partly because they smell so amazing. Yet, we’ve never really considered stealing some other handy goodies off our boys…until now. Surprisingly, there’s a lot of men’s products out there that can be just as good for us. When you’re staying at your man’s house and realise your skin is getting a little dry, instead of vigorously rubbing water on your legs, you can use some of his moisturiser to leave your skin feeling silky smooth. Also, with Christmas coming up, when shopping for your partner you can take into consideration whether you might be able to benefit from it as well.

Hair

For some reason girls tend to stick to hairspray and boys love their gels, but both essentially get the job done. If you’ve got any misbehaving wispy bits of hair, smoothing a bit of your S.O’s gel with your fingers will keep your hair in place, without you having to run to the store for some hairspray.

Face

Skincare routines for men and women can actually be quite similar, so raiding your man’s bathroom cupboard for a face wash to use can be just as good as the one you usually use. Also, a post-shave balm doesn’t just work wonders for after shaving. It’s an alternative for a face lotion when you don’t have one, and is actually very rich in vitamins, which your dry skin will thank you for.

Skin

A razor is a razor, and when you haven’t tamed your inner gorilla in a while, borrowing one of your partner’s one can do the trick. Use the same handle and just ask him to change the blades (so it isn’t gross at all), and then once you’re done, you can just switch it back to his. There’s also some great men’s shaving foams out there that smell great and reduce any irritation.

Cologne

There’s a lot androgynous perfumes out there, and if there’s one of his that tickles your fancy, why not spray a little? You’ll smell great and the scent will remind you of your lover. So cute right?

Nails

It’s quite clear that many males prefer not to have long nails. To ensure that their nails aren’t too long, men will have to take care of their fingers and toes pretty often. Therefore it’s quite common that they will have a pretty nifty manicure set that you, too, could get your hands on. They normally come with nail clippers, scissors, a nail file, and tweezers all of which have some very convenient uses for us girls.

Lips

It’s not like guys have super powerful lips that are always lush and never crack. You may not see them apply this often, but many guys will sneakily or obviously put on some paw paw or other lip balm. When your lips are just having one of those uncooperative days, and you’ve forgotten your lip gloss, your man might just be able to save the day.
