Tigermist set to overtake TopShop and H&M

The now very successful Melbourne startup Tigermist is challenging traditional retailers such as H&M and Zara to ‘up their game’.

The brand was created nine years ago by two sisters who decided to break into the online fashion world and open their own boutique. Stevie and Alana Pallister worked together to try and make their business as successful as possible. With a little help from Instagram, the application completely revolutionised their business and made it what it is today. “From Instagram in the early days Alana was selling 100 dresses a day,” Stevie said.

Wholesale contractors such as ASOS, Myer and Forever 21 picked up Tigermist, now selling their brand in over 50 stores. The ORIA award for Best Social Commerce Initiative was given to Tigermist for their successful startup.

Ex-Geordie shore star, Charlotte Crosby was on the set of Tigermist modelling their latest designs of their Kylie Jenner inspired looks.

The brand have also opened their first official retail store in Eastland, Victoria. The store had an opening sale and featured the TM babes at the register handing their loyal fans products and giveaways to celebrate.

The store then made a snap decision to deliver internationally where they could expand their business and gain more profit. The business now delivers to the US, UK, some parts of Europe and New Zealand.
