Who would have thought the humble lipstick would be all you need to make up your whole face?! Somehow, YouTubers Amy Macedo and Nikkie De Jager have used just lipstick on their eyes, eyebrows, as eyeshadow, lippie and blush and look seriously hot!

Amy Macedo kick-started the trend of making her face up with just lipstick! She did the whole smoky eye, eyebrows, blush and lips. She got over a million views for her efforts. You can check out this video which was the original idea before beauty blogger Nikkie De Jager decided to give it a go herself.

Nikkie De Jager who runs the popular channel Nikkie Tutorials latched onto Macedo’s challenge with serious gusto. Her efforts have attracted more than 1.8 million views.

And despite describing the feel of all the lipstick on her face “super tacky and sticky” after lathering it with a stash of 16 liquid lipsticks, she looks seriously stunning.

It sure would feel really sticky on your eyebrows and heavy and melty, especially if you were in the sun. As lipstick isn’t a moisture based product, you do have to contour it quickly into your cheeks. Nikkie used a mix of three metallic lipstick shades for a pink smokey eye that we could only dream of executing so well.

The brows stuck together according to Nikkie so if you’re keen to take risks with your beauty regime, add the lippie to your brows gradually. Choose a colour most in line to your natural hair colour. Or if you want the Cara Delevigne striking sort of look, opt for a slightly darker brown to bring out your golden locks.

You may not want step out of the house after you try this but it’s definitely a bit of fun and who doesn’t love playing around with makeup, right?
