Living far away from absolutely everything has its perks – the beauty of the land, island living, but it’s also has its downsides. We get celebrities here maybe once a year if we’re lucky, no one knows anything about us, and shipping costs from overseas are ridiculous. If you’re going to go online shopping in Australia, these sites are your best friends. Another bonus, if you’re still at university, they all have significant student discounts.
The Iconic
For the classy, fashion-savvy type of girl (or guy), The Iconic has all the big Australian brands in one convenient place. Tony Bianco, Camilla and Marc, Sass and Bide- if you love high-end fashion you’ll love this site. With free next day delivery on orders over $50 and free returns for 100 days, this is perfect for your last minute party shopping.
Boohoo
If you’re not willing to fork out $140 for a pair of exercise leggings, try the other end of the spectrum at Boohoo. This one takes a bit longer to ship, but also has free shipping on orders over $40. Unfortunately, you can’t use more than one coupon code on an order, and since they always have at least one sale on ranging from 10%-40% discounts, you might have to cop that $5 shopping fee to get that $100 discount. As well as having some other brands, Boohoo does its own stuff – their latest collection being a collaboration with singer Charli XCX. If you’re willing to wait, this one is perfect for everyday staples at a steal of a price.
Prettylittlething
The great thing about this one is that it has a wide range of styles all under a good price bracket – so you can get really gorgeous basics from $8 and then get glamorous dresses for $40, all in the one place. You’re not going to find innovative, interesting designs here but you will find the perfect everyday outfit and maybe a cute going out dress. They also do deals really often but relatively randomly – like the 24% off dresses they have going right now.
Missguided
My personal go to is Missguided, where I got my high school formal dress for $60. Free delivery over $60 and a constant 25% student discount makes this place incredibly affordable, not to mention they’re already low prices. None of the designs feel particularly unique, and sometimes you’ll find something on there that looks eerily similar to a high-end designer piece, but that’s the beauty of it. It can get up into the expensive side, like with their bridal collection ($300 for a wedding dress though? Yes please!) but most of their stuff is reasonably priced under $100.
Showpo
You’ve probably seen their ads out and about, but they don’t quite do the site justice. We’re getting more expensive here, with pieces averaging at about $60, but the high quality and simple beauty of the Showpo style tends to make it worth it. Sometimes their styles get a bit weird and out there, but if that’s what you like wearing, that’s what this site is for. It also has some of the best workwear out there. Free shipping on orders over $50 which is like, one dress anyway, so it’s great for an every once in awhile occasion shop.
Beginning Boutique
Girly, flirty, gorgeous – whenever I’ve gone out in BB I get countless compliments. Similar to Showpo, their prices can get pretty high, passing $100 on the really nice stuff, but their playsuits and dresses are so gorgeous that you don’t even really feel like you’re spending that much. Another one with free shipping over $50, Beginning Boutique is great for staying on trend with that cool girl style we’re all trying to get.
