The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here: it has officially been confirmed that supermodel Bella Hadid will be taking place in the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Admittedly, it has been a spectacular year for the youngest Hadid sister. After nailing her run as fashion month’s MVP and her Christian Dior cosmetics contract, it looks like Bella’s topped everything by smashing her recent Victoria’s Secret callback in New York City. To celebrate the occasion, Victoria’s Secret even released a video of the exact moment the 20-year-old landed the role. With her natural makeup, wavy hair and rock hard abs, there’s absolutely no doubt she’s the gal for the job.
Bella said she was happy with her performance during the casting session, but revealed she had no idea what the panel was thinking. “I kind of black out when I go in there, I’m kind of like, ‘I’m in my underwear, this is fun,” she said.

Bella is set to take her first steps on the VS runway this December – exactly one year after older sister, Gigi made her very own Angel debut. And considering G’s stunning 2015 performance, we’re sure the blonde has many tips for her baby sis.
Bella herself hasn’t announced the news yet, but a bunch of others have shared congratulatory social media posts. Her makeup artist, Vincent Oquendo, celebrated by posting a mirror selfie of himself and Bella, with the model decked out in VS-like lingerie. “Congrats my little baby bells on getting @victoriassecret! It’s been a beautiful ride so far and I can’t wait to see what’s next” he wrote.
And in more Victoria’s Secret news we’ve been dying to hear, VS Angel, Jasmine Tookes has been selected as the wearer of this year’s $3 million VS Fantasy Bra. The bra, which contains 9,000 precious gemstones, took 700 hours to make and has been the biggest milestone in any Angel’s career ever since Tyra Banks rocked hers in 1996.
When VS broke the news to Jasmine, she was understandably stoked as hell. The model had no idea she’d be chosen, but she was ready and raring to take the fashion world by storm.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion show will be held at a luxurious French manor this year. And for those who can’t exactly afford to fork out thousands of dollars, the show will air on 5 December.
