Holographic hair is here and it’s sooo pretty

There’s been a lot of hair trends as of late. Unicorn hair was the prettiest trend to hit the hairdressers…until now. The new beauty trend, holographic hair, far surpasses the gorgeousness of unicorn hair.

There are many reasons to love holographic hair, but as with many beauty trends, pictures are worth a thousand words.

The hair colouring is true to its name, looking beautiful and almost translucent.

The trend started in a hair salon in Washington in the US, and word has quickly spread about the beautiful locks you can have if you have got a stylist that’s game enough and knows what they’re doing.

Even with darker shades, stylists have still achieved the intended effect of holographs. The hints of colour that are sprinkled throughout the hair make you wonder: “is that colour really there or do I just think I saw it?”

Although some stylists choose to go lighter and play around with pinks, there is clearly no colour restriction with the holographic hair. As long as there’s still lightness and darkness to the hair colouring, it seems like any hair colour can be made into holographic hair. This is brilliant, as it leaves a lot of room for people and stylists to experiment. You can work with your stylist to ultimately figure out what kind of holographic hair you want, while still rocking a hair colour that you’ve been dying to try.

It’s clear that the holographic trend is popping up all over the world, as the trend has already made its way to Finland from the West Coast of the US. Stylists are clearly looking to try new things, and fingers crossed Australian hair stylists decide to do the same! The payoff is definitely worth it.
