When you’re thinking of what you’re going to wear for the day, glitter boots are rarely one of the things you take into consideration. However Saint Laurent are about to change that with their newest creation, which comes with quite the price tag.
First unveiled at Saint Laurent’s Fall 2017 runway show, these sparkly boots are the brainchild of the labels Italian-Belgian fashion designer Anthony Vaccarello.
The boots are handmade, and are covered in 3,000 rhinestones each, which explains their cost of around $13,000.
These boots are being lauded as a prime example of this season’s slouch boot trend.
This of course means that they are sought after, making the waitlist for a pair rather long. Despite this, there are some who have already gotten their hands of the expensive and elusive footwear.
Singer Rhianna has already managed to get her hands on a pair, posting photos of herself wearing them on Instagram soon after they were first seen on the runway.
She has even some matching accessories to go with her new purchase, including a very stunning bracelet and bag.
If you’re looking to pick up a pair, don’t hold your breath. In addition to the lengthy waiting list, there’s no word from Saint Laurent whether the boots will even be produced in the future.
